ElectricCars.com Review - Being auto fanatics and sports car lovers we would have liked to seen Ford's first entry into the EV world being a pumped up Mustang that burned rubber around the competition. But, we understand Ford's game plan here. To come in quietly and build on a conservative foundation.

The Pluggin C-Max makes sense. Based on the hugely successful Focus line it gives the auto buyer a chance to make a wise choice. It does seem at this time some of the flashy, "sportser" models introduced by upstart companies waned in the marketplace. Ford will no doubt introduce testosterone models in coming years.

However, we do want to give props to some of the home builders who have been taking their gas burning Mustangs and doing electric conversions. It might be wise for Ford to cultivate some of the home garage geniuses as their EV line grows.

Henry Ford started out building a simple car for the common man. The C-Max does well to advance Ford into the new age while at the same time creating a car that satisfies point A to B needs. Watch for technical reviews to come.
