ElectricCars.com
Founder Bruce Gast

Bruce Gast is a professional musician who began to his corporate career in the SIlicon Valley (San Jose, CA) by creating graphics and database applications for businesses. When the internet "was born" in the early 90's Bruce was instrumental in creating some of the world's very first websites.

You can say Bruce has the automobile business "in his blood". His Father, Raymond Gast grew up in Detroit in the early 1900's, when the auto industry was in "it's infancy". He spent afternoons swimming in Henry Ford's private pond and attended the Ford trade school, later going on to work for Auto giants like Cadillac and GM.

Bruce was raised in Northern California where people are conscious of the ecological damage caused by polution from cars. Bruce worked for auto brokers, transportation services, and sold solar energy systems in college. He also spent 8 years living in Southern California, where traffic and polution were a crisis... and where the future of an oil addicted society was clearly seen.

Today, ElectricCars.com has become one of the world's leading sources for alternative transportation. Millions of people have viewed the website and our statments have been quoted in many newspapers, magazines, tv shows and films.

Bruce's goals for ElectricCars.com have been based on realistic solutions to the world's oil addictions. Electric cars will phase out the gas burning engine, improve the ecology and save the world from economic depressions.

Bruce Gast's "Five Point" Plan to Phase Out Gasoline Powered Cars involved A: The Public B: Government C: Auto Manufacturers D: Science & Technolgies and E: The Media.

ELECTRICCARS.COM CURRENT STATUS

ElectricCars.com opened in 1996 with just 5 cars. Today the webstie features thousands of links, hundreds of manufatcutrers and cars. New features include an online showroom and news events. We have many relationships with automakers that began when they were scribling on post it notes in their garages. Many car makers asked us "what do the people want?" and we told them because our customers have been telling us for years,

"I bought ElectricCars.com in 1996 when it was "a joke, way too far ahead of it's time". At that time GM was introducing it's EV-1... a car I thought would save the planet. I got a big awakening to how blind the public was watching that car fail. In all these years of living with very little rewards I never once considered quitting though."

We've helped many builders with good ideas and helped protect customers from a few with "not so good" vehicles.

Currently ElectricCars.com is negotiating with manufacturers worldwide to distribute their vehicles and products. We're looking to expand and several potential investors are being considered to help us build dealerships, a home base distribution center, satellite offices and to launch major promotional campaigns.

We like to remind ourselves of how people snickered when we started this website years ago, when electric vehicles we "unreal"... We're poised to be a leader in this market. "Good things take time but we are patient!"

PARENT COMPANY ARCIVE.com - ARCIVE NETWORKS INC

Our parent company is ARCHIVE MEDIA which was founded in the 1980's. At that time we produced brochures, and printed materials for companies. We began to develope software for the transportation industry in the late 80's. But we were mostly unsuccessful because we based our softwae on the little known, but superior "Mac platform". People didn't see how great Mac computers were in time for us. When Mac's caught on in the 2000's we had moved on to ElectricCars.com

As the worldwide web began to develope we saw that it would eventually become the greatest communication and marketing media in human history. The company name was later changed to ARCIVE to be able to be protected by international trademark laws.

ElectricCars.com has benefitted greatly from the superior technologies of ARCIVE.com. New features to the network include the expansion of the ARCIVE SEARCH database as ARCIVE is evolving into a worldwide search system. We also have several other interesting websites that show potential. However, ElectricCars.com by far is showing promise to become a household word.

Final Thoughts

If you are considering buying an electric car remember you are not just buying a car. You are buying something that will show people you are one of the very very few people who actually care enough to do something to cure this gas addiction. Most people will complain and complain about gas prices and drive right back into a gas station and pay again, forever.

In 2008 $4.50 per gallon gas meant the USA alone was sending $700 BILLION DOLLARS to opec. The world soon fell into the worst economy since the great depression. We were getting phone calls from hard working people who had 2 kids and were spending more on their gas than their mortgages!!!

Wars are being fought over gas. People are dying from cancer caused from breathing copper colored pulluted air. And, the auto industry rejected electrics for decades because "it didn't feed their bottom lines"... We took it upon ourselves to fight the governments, influence the car makers and most of all educate the public why it's going to be "electric cars or things will get worse".

Some people say "I'm waiting for electric cars to be cheaper than gas". But, most people don't realize even $50 a week will end up being $125,000 spent on gas over 10 years or more if gas goes way up. And, their waiting for electric cars to be "perfect", to be "easy to purchase", and most of all waiting for their neighbor to own one... This is sheep mentality, and the reason the world is in the shape it's in today... Our customers are truly the pioneers of today, thinking ahead of most others.

We're talking about a whole lot more than selling cars here... Electric cars will save this planet, literally.
