VIEWING INSTRUCTIONS   How Do I Download and View the Videos? Our videos are displayed in 2 formats. The most popular format for people to view has become Real Videos. When you click the "Play" button on each video a file is transfered to your computer. Most these files are well over 5 Megs in size... This is the equivilent of a set of encyclopedias worth of data, if you are on a cable modem or DSL line it should take no longer than 60 to 180 seconds to download our videos. If you are trying to download the files at 6 pm at night when "Everybody and thier broher is online" we suggest trying again after peak hours. If you are on a slow, old, pre-historic dial up modem...well. you know that you need to upgrade!   To view these videos you must have a program called "Real Player" which is available FREE at the Real.com website. Click Here and look all over their website. They try to fool you into buying a fancy version of Real Player, but usually if you look hard enough you will see "Download Real Player Free" soemwhere on the website. If you do end up paying for the player it's just as well because the web is going "All Video" and we will all have to eventually pay.   After, the ElectricCars.com video downloads to your computer you computer will do one of two things. A: Ask you what you want to do with the file? Answer: SAVE it to your hard drive somewhere where you will be able to find it, Start the Real Player program and OPEN the ElectricCars.com video or B: Start the video automatically - This is the way it should be, but as usual computers are tricky and if we all had Mac it would work all the time, but PC's are more popular because the people who make them don't care that we get frustrated when our videos don't play (Another story!)     Direct Links to Video Programs: REAL VIDEOS To view our RealVideo clips on your computer download the latest Real Player from www.Real.com Look for the Free Demo or purchase the most advanced Player for best results.
